Potholes

Update

Tuesday 28th July - "Matthew" from ECC Highways was in Lindsell surveying the state of the roads and checking missing/damaged road signs - then reporting back to the bosses.

Look out for the orange markings on the roads ...... then cross your fingers and please say a little prayer.

Over the last weeks, the Lindsell Parish Meeting Team have been in discussions with Bo Davis, our Local Councillor, regarding the three most urgent highway repairs in the Parish plus surrounding roads, and those put forward for repairs were (approximate What3words):

Gallows Green Road

What3words:          Start: pardon.stud.ironclad         End: jogging.plan.variation

Holders Green Road

What3words:          Start: ghost.firming.ambushes    End: camped.verdict.difficult

Junction of Breach Lane and Mill End Green Road

What3words:          Start: spilled.birthdays.prance   End: splits.publish.paintings

The tremendously good news is that today, Bo Davis informed us that all three have been accepted for patching repairs. This will not be a quick repair schedule and is likely to take three months or so to start. Additionally, there is the not so good news that due to the narrowness of the roads in question, there will be road closures to protect the workforce and public.

If a resident feels that there are other highway repairs which should be considered for future submission to ECC, please send an email to: This email address is being protected from spambots.
